Crocs Work Bistro
Any ideas on how to clean the bottoms of my Bistro Crocs?
They are the non-slip Crocs… I work in a deli and I walk over bits of food all the time… It looks so gross when it collects between the tight treads…
I tried using a toothbrush but it didn’t really work at all… If it weren’t winter where I live I’d try spraying it with a hose…
Any suggestions? I feel like I need to clean them often to get the maximum effect of the non-slip surface.
The toothbrush is the right idea but it won’t work because the bristles are soft for your delicate gums. You need a stiff cleaning brush like those sold in the cleaning products aisle. I use my stiff scrub brush around the house for cleaning baseboards and loosening gum off of surfaces. I also use it in carpeting for puppy messes. If you lean it sideways you can probably get into the cracks of grout and your Crocs. As for what type of soap to use, I find it doesn’t really matter. I might actually suggest for you baking soda and dishsoap to remove grease and give a gentle cleanse to the surface.
