store policy of crocs and havaianas?
one of their store policy states that:
when returning products for an exchange ,it should have the PRICE TAG attached to it……
why is the policy like that?
if you wanted an exchange, and the price tag was detatched,
what would you do?

Generally, retail stores re-stocks and re-sells returned items. The policy just makes sense because how can the store re-sell the havaianas you want to exchange if it no longer has its tags?
As above poster said, the tag is a proof that the item is still new and unused but tag or no tag, it shouldn’t matter here in US where stores have easy return and exchange policy. Usually, retail stores ask for the original receipt of purchase to check if the item matches the description in the receipt in the event that the tag is detached.
