Crocs Safe For Toddlers

are crocs (the shoes) safe for toddlers?

i know they said they have led in the paint but are they safe now because i see everyone wearing them and i think there cute so should i but a pair for my 3 y/o daughter?

I only have them for my daughter to wear around the house or outside around the house. I personally don’t care for rubber shoes, but my mom bought them for her. I didn’t hear about the lead in the paint, but I did hear about them getting caught in escalators, very dangerous. If we are going to be out somewhere, I put sneakers on my daughter. Just feels a lot safer.
