Crocs Nursing Shoes Clogs Professional Shoes

Are nurses allowed to wear Uggs??

I’m going to start my nursing co-op soon and I was wondering what shoes to wear. I’ve heard about clogs and stuff, but I have a pair of Uggs at home that are wicked comfy– does anyone know if they’re allowed? Also, I know they’re not the most professional looking shoes, but no offense, neither are Crocs…

most uggs are like suede material, you want something that is easy to clean that you don’t mind having to throw away if need be. If you did not already realize as a nurse you might get blood, vomit, stool, urine, etc on your shoes. Also most hospitals only allow the “professional” Crocs (they are still ugly but they have not holes) I would not wear uggs to work at all.
