Kids Crocs?

I have a 1 year old son and I wanted to buy him some croc shoes. Well he wears a size 51/2 or a 6. When I went to buy the crocs the sizes that they have are 4/5 or a 6/7. Well the 6/7 looked a little too big so we tried the 4/5 and they fit a little. So when we got home i noticed that they looked a little tight? So i was wondering if anyone else has the same problem with there crocs? Is it better to fit snug or to be a little to big?
Hes been walking since he was 7 months old. Hes not a new walker. LOL

My son wears a size 5 we got him the 6/7. he walks fine in them.
